Craving a quick, affordable bite? Del Taco just might have the answer with their new $2.99 Micro Meal. This compact combo offers a taste of Del Taco's classics without breaking the bank. Let's dive in!
The Micro Meal features a miniature Beef and Cheddar Burrito, a serving of 7 to 10 crinkle-cut fries, and a single Donut Bite, all for just $2.99. This makes it one of the most budget-friendly combos available from a major fast-food chain right now. But here's where it gets interesting...
Compared to other value meals, like McDonald's $5 meal deal or Checkers & Rally's $4 combos, this is one of the smallest. My personal experience revealed that the meal comes in a small carton, about 5½ by 5 inches. I even counted the fries – 13 in my case, though a couple were on the stubby side. And, just so you know, the usual serving of Donut Bites is four.
This Micro Meal is designed to be a light meal. As someone who enjoys the full-sized Beef and Cheddar Burrito, I found it to be a guilt-free option. It's perfect for a light lunch that won't spoil your appetite for dinner.
Since these are not on the regular menu, it's hard to calculate the exact savings, but a full-sized version of these items would cost over $10. With tax, my Micro Meal came to $3.25.
Important Note: The Micro Meal doesn't include a drink, so keep that in mind.
Del Taco also offers other value combos, called El Big Boxes, which provide more substantial meals for $5, $7, or $9. These include several items like burritos, fries, or cheeseburgers, plus a 16-ounce soft drink.
For a limited time, Del Taco is also featuring items like the Del Dorado Chicken—grilled, marinated chicken with Salsa Roja—and an Orange Cream Shake.
Mark your calendars! The Micro Meal is only available through November 23rd.
