If you are a teacher or work for an educational organisation (public or private), you may be eligible for Erasmus+ funding to join one of our general Intensive Spanish courses, training courses for spanish teachers or special courses for professionals
We specialise in the Key Action 1 – Mobility for Education Staff Erasmus+ programmes, which are open to private or public educational organisations.
In February every year there is a deadline for schools and organisations to submit their funding applications to their Erasmus+ National Agency for projects starting between 1 June and 31December of that year.

FAQ
Can I apply for the scholarship on my own?
No. The European Union does not allow for individual scholarship applications. You need to be part of an educational institution as either an employee or student in order to qualify for the scholarships. The organization you belong to must also be properly registered as a participant of Erasmus+.
Who can apply?
Any teacher, staff member or student of an educational institution.
How can I start my journey on Erasmus+?
To begin your Erasmus+ experience, you need to speak with the exchange coordinator of your educational institution. When you have their approval, you can fill out the request for funds from Erasmus+. In this step, you will also fill out the forms that your institution requires. When these are all approved, you will need to sign an Academic Agreement between your educational center, Cervantes EI Malaga, and yourself.
What information do I need from Cervantes EI?
Your center will need to get in contact with Cervantes EI Malaga (CERVANTES & CERVANTES DEBLA SL). The exchange coordinator at your institution can find us through OID: E10073173.
Is there a lot of paperwork to fill out?
As we mentioned before, most Erasmus+ programs require 2 documents:
- Your institution needs to request the scholarship from the Erasmus+ agency in your country. This document is filled out by your institution and yourself.
- Then, the Academic Agreement is filled out in 3 different phases (before the exchange, during, and after your return home). This document is signed by your educational institutions, Cervantes EI, and yourself.
When will I receive the funds from the scholarship?
Normally, the scholarship is received during your stay or right after the end of the program. As such, please prepare to pay the costs of the trip out of pocket. You will receive the funds allotted later through the Erasmus+ agency in your country.
