How Price Chopper’s AdvantEdge Card eCoupons Work
Price Chopper/Market32 offers us the latest in technology with digital eCoupons. In fact, we are slowly seeing paper coupons being replaced by digital means.
More and more people are learning that digital (or electronic) coupons save time and money. We all love great deals. If you aren’t familiar with eCoupons, they are paperless coupons; you load them directly onto your Price Chopper Advantage Card from the store’s website or mobile app.
When the cashier swipes your card, the value of those coupons that can be applied to products in your order will automatically be deducted.
I often receive questions asking; “How does Price Chopper’s eCoupons (also known as Price Chopper’s Digital Coupons) work?”. Today I will spend some time exploring their coupon policy a bit. It is simple, really. If you are already an AdvantEdge member, then you are using the latest in technology at your fingertips.

Let’s get started – How to Clip Price Chopper eCoupons
First, you can upload the AdvantEdge eCoupons fromhere or download the Price Chopper app (google play or itunes).
Make sure you have your AdvantEdge card ready. You will have to enter it in when you sign up. These are FREE to use and SUPER easy!
Once you have your coupons uploaded to your card, you are set to go. At check out, the cashier will scan your card and within a matter of seconds, the register will deduct the coupons that have been loaded onto your card. If you have your Price Chopper app handy, after checkout you will see them removed.
Please Note: It seems as though you can not immediately add your ecoupons to your card and expect them to come off. I now add them to my card, 24 hours before shopping.
However, just like paper manufacture coupons, ecoupons also have expiration dates. When an unused eCoupon expires, it will drop from “your clipped” coupons on your account. Just be mindful that you use your coupon before they expire.
Loading Your Price Chopper eCoupons
To loadthesee-coupons to your AdvantEdge card, all you have to do isbrowse through the eCoupon selection and click “Save” on the coupons you want.
You cannot remove eCoupons from your account. These digital store coupons will automatically be removed once they expire if they’re not redeemed. It is important to remember that Price Chopper eCoupons have a limit of 1.
This means that only one coupon will be available to purchase one item at the discounted price. If you are purchasing more than one of the same items, only one coupon will be applied. You will not generally find coupons for gift cards, lottery tickets, postage stamps, or entertainment tickets. and the like.
The Pros and Cons of Using eCoupons
Digital coupons are convenient. And make it easy to save extra money at supermarkets. But there are some quirks that are sometimes confusing to shoppers.
The Pros for Advantedge cardholders
- They are eco-friendly. Less paper equals less waste. It also saves customers the extracost of printing coupons.
- They are easy to use for food savings.
- You don’t need to worry about bringing extra bulk to the store.
- They are easy to get savings. No need to purchase a newspaper to get coupon inserts.
Cons
- You typically can only buy 1 of any item to receive your discount.
- If your store doubles coupons, they exclude digital discounts from doubling. They will only deduct at face value or the amount noted.
- You may not find coupons for items you normally would buy.
Frequently Asked Questions About Price Chopper’s eCoupons
How do I load my eCoupons to my AdvantEdge Card?
You will first need to log in into your Price Chopper account or set one up a new account here.Please note you will need to have your advantedge card number handy. Once you have set up your account, you are free to click away. Head on over to the coupons section. At this time, they will ask you to link your current card to your new registration. Once Linked you are ready to load your coupons to your card by clicking the save button.
Does AdvantEdge eCoupon double?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. The discount these coupons provide is the value mentioned. As couponers, say it is the intended for face-value use only.
Can I combine a manufacturer coupon with an AdvantEdge eCoupon?
First, let’s explore the two types of digital coupons you will find on the Price Chopper Website or app.
Manufacturer Coupons – These coupons can not be combined with other manufacturer coupons and they are supplied to Price Chopper by the manufacturers themselves.
Store Coupons – These are in fact “True” Price Chopper Store Coupons and can be combined with ONE paper manufacturer coupon.

I have spent at least an hour trying to load e-coupons. I’ve used it before but impossible this week. I keep getting messages like “SIGN IN THRU INSTTA..ETC IS NOT AVAILABLE. PLEASE USE YOUR EMAIL TO SIGN IN AND CREATE PASSWORD. And, PASSWORD RESET TOKEN IS NOT VALIDi I did not get a ‘codel I did get a reply that said press here and enter new password. Then a message comes up and said Not Valid. I spoke with THREE reps on the phone to NO AVAIL. I went to Svc. Desk at Glenmont Store and he said he could not help me with eCoupon registration. HELP. I’m about to stop shopping at Price Chopper f o r e v e r. I’m 86 1/2 years old and my son does my heavy shopping and this situation is both unbearable and frustrating.!!! I find that I’m not the only one to have problems with eCoupons. Don;’t promote something that the customer cannot UTILIZE.

Hi Frances, I feel your frustration. I created this post out of necessity for my blog readers. Helping them to better understand the eCoupon process. I don’t work for Price Chopper/Mrket32 so any technical concerns or complains really need to be address by them. You will need to call their customer Service number. 1-800-666-7667 You are not the only one having issues with their ecoupon system as they are now expecting their customer to utilize solely instead of in ad paper coupon. I am not a fan of the e-coupons….it seems if you have a manufactures coupon for a item you cannot
Combine it with the e-coupon. Why not? I don’t find that listed anywhere and you don’t realize it until
Check out when you ask where is the discount for the e-coupon and they reply “the manufacture coupon kicks out the e-coupon…..Again, why? The store gets reimbursed for those manufacture coupons and I feel we should be allowed to use both these coupons together. I also feel that older
People don’t always have a computer to be able to us the e-coupon where before they could cut the

It is best to reach out to them via their customer service number off their website. Many people (and you are not alone) dislike the use of eCoupon.

An eCoupon is for the item indicated. So if it states one, it is for one item. Each eCoupon does have its own expiration date. You will find that in the fine print.Reply

It took me many tries to get this set up. Very disappointed in Price Chopper in going to this system. There are many people who are having a hard time with this as can be seen from the comment section. Also why the need for an email just to make a comment

I clipped the e coupon for $3 off 3 twelve packs of co*ke. When I got home from the store after purchasing it and looked at my receipt, the e coupon was not credited. Can you tell me why?

I have tried many times to log in to set up for ecoupons . Not any luck. I have also called the corporate
number and no one there can seem to help. I ‘m working on desk top and have entered all the information required. I don’t understand why this does not work. This seems to be a complete waste of time. From your feedback comments I can see a lot of other people having the same problem trying to log in. This seems to need more testing before being rolled out…Very disappointed.Reply

You do need to create an account online with your Advantage Card. Then once set up you will be able to log in.

I have tried for several weeks for e coupons. The screen continuously flashes and says it cannot download. Not sure what has happened. I have tried several ways to click on but just keeps flashing. Help

Every time I try to load the coupons to my advantage card I get unable to load coupon error. Has anyone else had this problem? This error has just started about a month ago, before that I had no problem.

Huh! That is really interesting. This is the first I am hearing about an error. I would actually contact price chopper through their website to reach customer service. They may some internal website error going on. They did do an update around a month ago. Sounds like the error you are getting does jive with that update. Please come back and let us know if they fix this for you.

They way in which Price Chopper has set up their on line ecoupons it doesn’t allow for you to unclip your coupons. The best you can do is contact Price Chopper/Market32 through their website and see if they can unlink your coupons to your card.Reply

it doesn’t work for me. When I key in e-coupons it tells me no results found. I have an advantage card all it gives me clipped coupons where you print them off and cut. I have other cards for different stores and e-coupons work.

what was the coupon company that use to be linked to our price chopper advantage card? It would accumulate your saving and deposit the money into your bank account when you requested it? This savings was on top of manufacturer and/or store coupons.

I have tried repeatedly to get the e-coupon for the Philadelphia Cheesecake Cups that are advertised this week. I have looked over the coupons many times and cannot find this offer and when I type in this item to “search” it brings up some coupons but not for the Cheesecake Cups. I’ll admit that I’m not quite the brightest when it comes to computers, etc but I have done this before for other items and have been successful.
What do you think I am doing wrong?Reply

Hi Vicki, I am sorry you are having such a problem. I have found you are not the only one. Did you type in “Free” or “Store coupon” in the search bar. I am certainly sure that there are a limited amount of saves. I hope you can pull it up. Not sure if you are search on desktop or mobile. I find it easier to search from desktop. Let me know how it works out for you
